RE: FOIA CAMPAIGN SUPPORTERS
One of the most potent weapons against government secrecy is the Freedom
of Information Act (FOIA). For more than twenty years, the Church of
Scientology has been an active and outspoken supporter of laws to
strengthen FOIA and of those who use the Act the effectively expose
government secrets.
The Church of Scientology is widely known as one of the most efficient
users of FOIA and the results of its many investigations which have made
use of the Act have regularly appeared in Freedom.
During the late 1970s, Freedom ran a continuing series which exposed
government manipulation of the media. Such efforts cultivating friendly
reporters as intelligence sources, planting false news stories and
squelching stories critical of the government or its officials.
One of the longest running series of stories to appear in Freedom was
the more than two-year investigation into secret government mind control
and chemical-biological warfare experiments.
Starting in the early 1950s, government intelligence services launched
a program known as MK Ultra. Numerous secret projects were conducted
under the umbrella of Mk Ultra. Among the first were deadly mind-control
experiments designed to find ways to control human behavior using drugs,
electric shock and brain operations.
Such experiments were intended to create the perfect spy -- one who
could not be compromised even if tortured to death, one who would carry
out any order and one who could even be be programed to murder on command.
During the late 1970s, the Church published numerous FOIA documents
exposing these secret mind control experiments.

And now for the truth
What you just read is a more elaborate attempt by the Scientology crime
syndicate to justify its "Operation Snow White" espionage
crimes which resulted in a number of Scientology's ringleaders going to
prison. These issues have been discussed in other web pages here on the
Volunteer Minister's web site and they can be found at:
While Scientology's ringleaders like to publically claim that the
governments of the world are all engaged in massive conspiracies and
-- thanks to the courage of Scientologists who fly in and save the
day! -- Scientology's leaders have "forgotten" to tell us
a few things about these conspiracies.
L. Ron Hubbard's profound insanity, his
unfortunate drug problem, and his
criminal urges drives Scientology's
freakishly bizarre conspiracy beliefs and such insanity is mirrored in
the delusional nut rants of their followers -- and official spokespeople
such as you read above.
It was reported by Ms. Stacy Brooks of the
Lisa McPherson Trust that some
of the remaining followers of Scientology are being told that she and
another member of the Trust Mr.
Robert Minton are "off worlders" in keeping with the
delusional notion that the efforts to curb Scientology's criminal
abuses and racketeering scams are part of the Galacy-wide conspiracy
Scientology's mad messiah L. Ron Hubbard warned followers about.
While most people would find such notions amusing -- and to be honest
I certainly do at times -- such notions are dangerous and historically
proven deadly. Convince people that those "enemies" around
you are not human and one removes the compunctions against murdering
them since they're not really human.
Scientology's "Volunteer Ministers" won't tell you any of
these things, of course, and for obvious reasons.
